Meet your Staff at Warbelow's Air Ambulance!

mike

Mike Branum, RN: Mike is Warbelow's Air Ambulance Operations Manager and has been involved in emergency services since 1984.  Mike has over two decades of fire experience serving with departments in North Carolina, Arizona, Colorado, and Alaska.   Mike's EMS experience ranges from First Responder to Paramedic in both rural and urban settings.  Mike became a RN in 2003 and worked predominantly in emergency and critical care settings before accepting a flight position with Warbelow's in 2009.  Mike continues to be involved in the fire service as a volunteer at Chena Goldstream Fire & Rescue.  Mike received a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of North Carolina in 2005.  In his spare time, Mike enjoys attempting to play golf and hockey.

 

Chasity Tierney, RN: Chasity graduated from Auburn University School of Nursing with a BSN in May of 2007.  Since then she has worked as a nurse on a surgical/orthopedic unit for 10 months then in an Emergency Department since September of 2008.  She is a clinical instructor for the Paramedic Academy of UAF/TVC.  In her free time she loves to travel, read, and spend time with friends and family.

Craig Donaldson, MICP: Craig has 22 years in the Fire/EMS Service, with WAA Since January 2010, and in Fairbanks since 2008.  Last job was as a "Remote Paramedic" working overseas as a Damage Control Officer and Ship Medic for the Oil Industry.  Split my time between being a Full Time Captain at CGFR with my Part Time Status as Flight Paramedic at WAA. His hobbies include, Camping, Canoe Trips, Construction Projects, Cooking, and enjoying all that Alaska has to offer.

 

Stacy Hebert, RN: Staci has worked with Warbelow's Air Ambulance since 2008 and offers three years of emergency nursing experience. She has worked in emergency rooms in Louisiana, California, and is currently also a part-time nurse in the emergency department at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. Staci enjoys playing many sports, especially hockey in Alaska; and loves spending time with her family. "There's nothing like taking care of people while flying alongside the northern lights!"

Kylin Warbelow, MICP: Kylin completed her paramedic training through the UAF/TVC Paramedic Academy in 2007.  Since then she has been working as a flight medic with Warbelow’s Air Ambulance.  She also worked one summer in Healy, Alaska with Tri-Valley Fire Department.  She is a BLS instructor and is a program assistant for the Paramedic Academy.  In her free time she loves to travel, fish, play sports, and hang out with friends and family.

Suzy Coronel, MICP: Suzy has worked with Warbelow's since 2002. "I truly enjoy the opportunity to serve rural Alaska, and to do so with fantastic teammates.  I've worked in healthcare (primarily in practice/large-clinic management) since 1986, and have worked the last 13 years in various aspects of pre-hospital medicine.  I'm looking forward to the onward and upward and continual growth with the Warbelow's Air Ambulance team."

Our staff of Registered Nurse’s (RN’s) and Mobile Intensive Care Paramedics (MICP's) are critical-care trained and dedicated to responding 24/7 within a 30 minute launch time. Our team averages over 10,000 hours of combined Interior Alaska Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) experience. All flights are staffed with one Nurse and one Paramedic at all times.

Medical Director

Warbelow’s Medical Director is responsible for the overall quality of the program.  Our director is a Board-certified physician trained in emergency medicine and aeromedical transport. Our medical director’s expertise and intimate involvement in our program ensures that the best aeromedical care is provided consistently and effectively to all patients.

Our physician medical director is actively engaged with the crew, working to implement changes that enhance the quality of our program. Regularly scheduled training sessions and medical control meetings along with improvements in dispatch communications, have brought our program to new heights. Crew members often travel to villages and local communities to provide training classes and support for community health fairs.
